Scoil Ruain is a modern, co-educational, multi-denominational second level school, highly regarded for its outstanding academic standards and sporting tradition. SCHOOL CALENDAR

The Management reserves the right to alter calendar entries if the need arises.

 

Calendar

Applications are currently being accepted for a number of Post Leaving Certificate Courses for the 2012/2013 school year.  The following courses will commence in  September 2012, subject to sufficient demand:

1.    Childcare FETAC Level 5
2.    Supervision in Childcare FETAC Level 6
3.    Business Studies - Secretarial FETAC Level 5
4.    Business Studies - Secretarial FETAC Level 6

Applicants may be eligible to apply for VTOS and VEC grants.  The selection process for entry to these courses will inlcude an interview. 

Applications are available from the school.  The closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Friday May 11th 2012. 

Sports Hall Well Under Way

The Sports Hall  at Scoil Ruáin is well underway with significant progress
being made with building to date. The Builders, Noel Regan Plant Hire are from
Ballaghdereen in Co. Roscommon. Many locals have benefitted from sub contracting
work and are sure to play a significant role in the development of the project. See
