Scoil Ruain (St. Ruain's School in Irish Gaelic) is a modern second level school that is prepared for the future.

We are a co-educational school set in the beautiful rolling hillside countryside of Slieveardagh, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.

In recent years we have broadened our choice of subjects at Leaving Certificate level.

We have achieved the position of having optimum class sizes.

We have continually upgraded and modernised our computer facilities. Our computer room is fully networked and internet ready as are our offices and staff room.

We provide a full range of science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science and Biology at Leaving Certificate Level.

We provide education to Leaving Certificate Level in important technological, social and cultural subjects which include Construction Studies, Technical Drawing, Art and Design, Home Economics, Engineering etc.

Scoil Ruain has sanction from the Dept. of Education and Science for provision of a large Sports Hall in the very near future.
